for the Sport Broadcaster Internship for Women 2014. The successful applicant
will be trained as a broadcaster to take part in television sport coverage
under a one-year training contract.

1. Demonstrated interest and knowledge of Sport
   and Sport issues.
2. Familiarity with ABC Sport output (TV, Radio
   and Online).
3. Demonstrated understanding of issues of
   Editorial and Creative judgment.
4. Demonstrated interest in Social Media and its
   emerging role in broadcasting.
5. Tertiary education or equivalent practical
   experience.
6. Well developed written and oral communications
   skills.
7. Ability to work as part of a team and to
   deadline.
8. Demonstrated willingness to learn and develop
   skills.
9. Basic understanding of TV Production an
   advantage.
10. Experience using television, graphic and web
    based programs and applications an advantage.
11. An understanding of and commitment to the
    ABC’s aims, objectives and workplace values, together with relevant
    policies and guidelines including Editorial Policies, Equity &
    Diversity and Work Health & Safety.
