Responsibilities:
- Design of tankers and other mechanical
equipment, components and products for manufacture to customer orders - Incorporating design concepts from proposal
design into design development and final workshop detail drawings. - Check that designs meet ADR and parameters set
by engineering manager - Weight distribution Analysis
- Liaise with engineering manager and engineers
to ensure designs meet deadlines - Work to engineering/production schedule to
ensure continue workflow to workshop - Technical support to other departments
Qualifications & Experience:
- Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma in
Drafting Mechanical Engineering with design capabilities - Experience in Steel or Structural background
- Experience in transport equipment would be preferable.
- Experience in Auto cad and Solidwork is
essential - Driveworks experience is preferable.
- Attention to details
- Ability to work Autonomously & to
deadlines
Salary package would be commensurate of experience.
