Tweed Ultima Resort Management Team Job Vacancy in Australia


Our Southern Gold Coast Holiday Resort is seeking a
very experienced on-site  management team to take responsibility for all
aspects of this growing holiday/permanent letting business and
conference/wedding centre business.
The Position

Successful applicant will take overall
responsibility for the day to day operation of the business/businesses, and the
smooth and profitable operation of all aspects of the Resorts business
facets; holiday and permanent letting; group bookings; conference and event
management. 
Overseeing of existing office staff, maintenance
staff, casual hospitality staff and contract cleaners. 
Maintaining property/and presentation of
property to Body Corporate expected standards. Maintaining apartments to 4
1/2 star standard.
The successful applicant will be required to reside
on property to meet after hours requirements etc and the salary package is
inclusive of appropriate accommodation.
Responsibilities.
Day to day management and maintenance of resort;
reception; reservations; property management; event marketing, planning and
management.
Maintain best practice customer
service. Achieve financial targets and be instrumental in profit growth,
through new markets and opportunities.  Assist Business managers in 
marketing/sales planning.
Routine adherence to statutory obligations, and
body corporate duties.
Property and staff to be presented to highest,
reasonable standards.
Duties.
 Display and maintain excellent customer
service and communication standards, show excellent problem solving skills;
display this customer service standard  with staff,  customers,
potential clients and other business partners.
 Oversee, work with and supervise existing
staff to ensure all targets are met, and duties performed in effective and
timely manner.  Offer training to staff where necessary. Arrange staff
rosters. Arrange temporary/casual staff as needed.
Identify opportunities to improve overall
revenue and profit performance, of all resorts business interests. Identify
areas where performance or presentation could be improved.
Monitor targeted performance of operations,
operating costs and become familiar and involved in trading patterns of the
property.
Be responsible for Reservations/booking system
and channel management of inventory.
Work closely with Business Owners in rate
management.
Assist Business Owners with Reconciliation of
Trust Account and Month End Reports.
Work closely with  and report to business
owners, initially in training/changeover period and then ongoing End
Of Month and other ad hoc meetings.  Monthly reporting of all aspects of
business and ad hoc reporting as required in operation of business.
Skills and Experience
The applicants must have several year’s experience
in resort management (preferably in management rights structure) for a mid to
large business. Display excellent management qualities. Experience in
Event Management, and knowledge of catering for functions would be
preferable.   References required. 
The applicants must display a good working
knowledge of computer systems, web sites, internet and social
media, and preference will be given to applicants with excellent knowledge
of Hirum operating system (reservation system).
The applicants will require a good knowledge of
Property Management with experience in holiday and permanent letting,
(preferably within the management rights structure), experience in Event
Management desirable. Some Marketing experience in holiday and permanent
letting, Marketing experience for Wedding and function
business required. 
 Best practice customer service required.
The successful applicants will hold necessary
licences or be willing and able to acquire same in appropriate time.
This contract/position will be a minimum of 12
month contract and ideally suited to a two person team, who together, are
able to offer the above skills and experience.  Salary will be
negotiated with incentives and includes suitable furnished onsite
accommodation.
