social Rehabilitation and Support
Service (PDRSS) is a long tern residential service situated in Alma Road East
St Kilda. Based on psych-social principles and the recovery model, Scottsdale
offers a 16 bed residence and 8 independent living units in partnership with
Housing Choices Australia.

alongside people to achieve their goals. You will implement client skills and
activities programs under limited supervision providing a wide range of
personal care services to residents.
- Provide practical and emotional support to
residents so they can enjoy as high a quality of life as is possible. - To understand and implement information and
instructions contained in residents files and to assist in handovers both
written and verbal. - Enhance overall service delivery by working
effectively, supportively and co-operatively with other staff members in
one-to-one interactions, team meetings and in the daily work of the program - Prepare appropriate documentation of resident
status such as any changes in physical condition, mental health, attitude
and appetite in the form of case notes, handover both written and verbal - Participating in the planning, development and
review processes of the Residential Services Program - Work with empathy, positive attitude, behavior
and respect for residents families/carers and colleagues and maintain
absolute confidentiality of all information. - Prepare appropriate documentation of resident
status such as any changes in physical condition, mental health, attitude
and appetite in the form of case notes, handover both written and verbal
- Certificate Level 3 or 4 in Home and Community
Care or a closely related field. - Possess knowledge of working with people with
psychiatric disabilities and within a residential setting. - Possesses skill and ability in relation to
working with Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office and database
applications. - Current Victorian Driver’s License.
