What we
have on offer:
As a result of
strong demand for our solutions, CSP is looking for an Innovation Engineer /
Team Leader, reporting into the Managing Director, to lead the Innovation
Growth Office (IGO) within a client organisation (‘IGO Leader’).
IGOs can fluctuate in size from 3-25 people, depending on the size of the
organisation and level of innovation activity, and generally comprise a mix of
client and CSP personnel in full and part time roles.
The role of
IGO Leader:
The IGO Leader is
responsible for the overall performance and effectiveness of the IGO. Given the
multidisciplinary nature of an IGO, you’ll need to have either direct
experience in, or have organised and managed, a broad range of professions and
functions including communications, marketing, digital & social media,
training, project management, legal, finance, technical services, graphic
design, subject matter experts and R&D.
The position is very
hands-on, including:
- Perform
an innovation gap analysis for the client organisation then work with
management to plan & design an innovation program to meet their goals
and objectives - Market
the innovation program as a shared service within the client organisation
and identify innovation needs, opportunities and sponsors - Work
with the sponsor of each innovation challenge to design the marketing
& communications, rewards & recognition, evaluation workflow and
challenge governance - Set up
and customise the innovation management platform to suit each challenge - Manage
the end-to-end innovation challenge post-launch to maximise participation
& collaboration, optimise the evaluation pipeline and decision process - Develop
implementation plans for new innovations with management and project /
program manage the execution, including change management - Track,
measure and report the effectiveness of each innovation campaign,
including challenge statistics and ROI
bring to the table:
- Tertiary
qualifications, ideally in engineering and/or innovation, though people
with a demonstrated track record of enterprise-level innovation is
ultimately what we seek - Outstanding
English communication skills – written, spoken, presentations, public
speaking - Outstanding
people management skills, and a lead-by-example approach that fosters a
fun, inclusive culture conducive to high-calibre people performing at
their best - A user
configuration-level understanding of latest technologies including cloud,
SaaS, social, mobile and desktop - Sufficient
workplace experience to understand the mechanics and dynamics of how large
organisations function, including vision, strategy, value networks,
culture and governance - Proven
ability to influence and negotiate innovative solutions across different
stakeholder groups and levels to successfully drive both sustaining and
disruptive innovations - Experience
delivering training sessions with a high level of energy, enthusiasm and
customer engagement - The
ability to multi-task and work under pressure - Experience
in designing & operating measurement and reporting systems and KPIs in
agreement with key stakeholders to enable tracking, measurement and
reporting of innovation performance
