Law is a dynamic and entrepreneurial NewLaw firm, backed by award-winning
United Kingdom firm, Keystone Law.    
The
firm is looking to appoint a dynamic and personable Practice Manager or
Secretary, with sound law firm experience, to run the Central Office of the
firm in Sydney, reporting to the CEO.    
This
is a broad-ranging role, which is part leg

al secretary, part marketing, part
IT, part office manager, part event organiser, and a central contact point
between the firm and its lawyers, clients and service providers.  

It
will suit an energetic and highly motivated person, with a ‘can do’ attitude,
and a lovely personality.  Someone with excellent communication skills
(written and oral), integrity, and an ability to connect with people.
 Strong organisational skills are essential, as is an ability to set and
meet priorities, with an eye for detail. Other skill-sets we’re looking for
include:      
  • Lawyer
    support – provide a level of PA / administrative support for our senior
    lawyers, word processing, paralegal type support; 
  • Marketing
    – prepare marketing materials, capability statements, newsletters and do
    basic graphic design;
  • Events
    – organise firm social events, seminars, CLEs, dinners, client functions;
  • IT
    savvy – able to handle basic IT tasks, computer set-up, trouble shooting,
    manage website and intranet, test new functionality, oversee new document
    automation (with an ability to refer more complex IT work to an external
    consultancy);  
  • Systems
    – oversee compliance with firm’s systems and processes; and
  • Procurement
    – owning and managing relationships with the firm’s suppliers.

someone to step up into a Central role in an organisation set to grow fast.
