RLDSF 3 Various Jobs Vacancies in Kigali, Rwanda

 The
Rwanda Local Development Support Funds (RLDSF) was established by law No
41/2010 of 25.11.2010 creating the organisation and functioning of RLDSF.

The objectives of the Rwanda Local Development Support Funds (RLDSF) are as
follows:

1-    To support development activities in local administrative
entities;
2-    To serve as an intermediary between local administrative
entities with legal
personality and donors especially those involved in
financing development activities in those entities;
3-    To put in place mechanisms of distributing financial
support in local administrative entities;
4-    To monitor the use of funds allocated by RLDSF to
development activities in the local administrative entities;
5-    To establish strategies of job creation in favour of a large
number of people and assistance to those unable to perform jobs such
employment;
6-    To contribute to sensitising population and building their
capacities in analysing and solving their problem;
7-    To contribute to sensitising population to participate in
development activities meant for them;
8-    To contribute to sensitising population on the culture of
making savings and working with banks and microfinance institutions;
9-    To built capacities of local administrative entities
within the scope of RLDSF mission;
10-    To mobilise and collect funds.

To accomplish its objectives, the Rwanda Local Development Support Funds
(RLDSF) wishes to recruit permanent staff for the following positions:

Administrative Assistant to Deputy Director Generals
 (2 positions)

Duties
and responsibilities

–  
 Advise  the head of division on administrative affairs;
–    Select and prioritize urgent documents to be submitted to
the head of division;
–    Analyze and summarize document contents before submission
–    Record and file documents;
–    Assist in preparation and scheduling of different meetings
–    Distribute in and out division correspondences
–    Prepare and handle correspondences as assigned by the head
of division;
–    Hold backlog of appointments for the head of unit.

Requirements

–  
 Bachelors’` Degree (A0) in Management or Administration
–    Proven Computer skills in Ms Word, Excel, Power
point……..
–    Knowledge of English or French, knowledge of both it is an
added advantage;


Financial Service Officer (Readvertised)
( 1 position)

Duties
and responsibilities

–  
 Analyse requests and documents required for the transfers of funds
allocated to credit and savings initiatives
–    Identify and propose necessary prerequisites and guidelines
for the disbursement of funds to credit and savings initiatives
–    Advise on the effective implementation of credit and saving
projects
–    Ensure that VUP financed projects are in conformity with
credit and saving procedure manuals
–    Ensure timely and effective transfers of funds to
decentralised entities ;
–    Follow-up of transfers to credit &saving
component  beneficiaries and loan repayment ;
–    Prepare periodical and situational reports on the credit
and saving component to the  VUP Coordinator;
–    Assume responsibilities of  entering data collected in
the software;

Requirements

–  
 At least a bachelors` degree in Management, Finance, Banking, Business
Administration or related fields .
–    Computer skills (Ms word, Excel, Power point…)
–    Knowledge of English or French, knowledge of both it is an
added advantage;

The
