a. Key Duties and responsibilities
1. To coordinate and supervise all technical activities of the
Unit
2. To coordinate, supervise and follow up MMI branches
3. To follow up MMI performance
4. To be in close relationship with care providers
5. To accomplish the role of MMI medical advisor by fulfilling
the following tasks:
a. To advise the Director in the domain of medical services
b. To give advice on medical prescriptions submitted to
him/her by counter clerks;
c. To search and investigate on cases of fraud related to
medical services and prepare files, to submit to the commission in charge of fighting fraud;
d. To verify the establishment and update of the
nomenclature of medical acts
e. To participate in the establishment & revision of the list
of acts and drugs reimbursed by MMI.
6. To coordinate budget elaboration of his/her unit and control
its execution
b. Job requirements
– Must be a Rwandan Nationality
– She/he must have a university degree in Medicine, Master’s degree in Public Health would be a value added.
– Need to have at least 3 years of experience in said fields above
– Kinyarwanda and English or French written and spoken are a must.
