Background.
Broadband Systems Corporation, Ltd (“BSC Ltd”) is a licensed Internet Service Provider (ISP) that has been incorporated under the laws and regulations of the Republic of Rwanda. The company is engaged in the
business of providing advanced Information Communication Technology (“ICT”) services based on broadband connectivity.

In order to effectively accomplish its business objectives, BSC Ltd is looking for qualified and competent candidates to fill the following vacant positions.

1. Position: Sales / Business Development Manager

Key responsibilities
– Develops a business plan and sales strategy for the market that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability.
– Responsible for the performance and development of the Sales people/Account Managers.
– Provides timely feedback to senior management regarding performance.
– Provides timely, accurate, competitive pricing on all product portfolio while striving to maintain maximum profit margin
– Prepares action plans by individuals as well as by sales team for effective search of sales leads and converting them into accounts.
– Negotiating the terms of an agreement and pricing
– Conduct one-on-one review with all Account Managers to build more effective communications, to understand training and development needs, and to provide insight for the improvement of Account Managers’ sales and activity performance.
– Collect and analysis competitor information and work with the marketing department to respond to the market needs.
– Develop and implement sales plans and projects for new and existing products.
– Monitor, review and report on all sales activity and results
– Investigate lost sales and customer accounts and generate timely sales reports.
– Forecast annual, quarterly and monthly sales revenue.
– Formulate sales policies, key performance index and procedures.
– Prepare budgets and approve budget expenditures;
– Coordinate with customer care to resolve customer complaints regarding sales and service;

Qualification and Experience
– Business or marketing-related degree or equivalent, master’s degree in marketing or business administration preferred.
– Minimum 5 years experience in managing a customer base with 3 years’ experience in all aspects of developing and maintaining sales, channels and customer satisfaction strategies in the Telecom industry.
– Proven Technical sales skills.
– Relevant product and industry knowledge.
– Proven experience in customer relationship management at least 2 years’ experience in managing and directing a sales team.
– The applicants must be fluent in English or French with a strong working knowledge of English.
– Proven competence in the use of computer software applications including power point, spreadsheets and word-processing packages.
– Be a person of proven integrity, high motivation, innovation and strong leadership.

2. Position: Marketing Support Officer (1)

Key responsibilities
– Develop CI(Corporate Identity) /BI(Brand Identity) planning and management
– Managing design and revise identity for customer contact point such as CS center, shop.
– Develop communication strategy and execute
– Identify product communication request
– Gather and analyze ads/ATL(Above the line) /BTL(Below the line) /on-line market trends
– Analyze Market response & customer needs
– Plan ads/ATL(Above the line)/BTL(Below the line) /on-line communication strategy early/quarterly/monthly
– Develop/Revise/perform Ads/ATL (Above the line) /BTL(Below the line) /on-line programs
– Report ads/ATL (Above the line)/BTL(Below the line) /on-line status/Performance
– Set SOP(Standard operating procedure) for ads/ATL (Above the line)/BTL(Below the line)/on-line management
– VMD (Visual Merchandising) management
– Identify new product/service VMD (Visual Merchandising) request: pamphlet, poster & brochures, homepage event notice etc.
– Compose best VMD (Visual Merchandising) mix for product/service up to the market conditions
– Deliver design concept to the outsource 1 designer to make simple
– VMD (Visual Merchandising) or to the 3rd party advertising agencies

Qualification and Experience
– Business or marketing-related degree or equivalent, master’s degree in marketing or business administration preferred.
– Minimum 1 years’ experience in all aspects of promotion, advertising
– Proven Technical advertising, VMD skills.
– Relevant industry knowledge.
– Proven experience in advertising, VMD and promotion field.
– The applicants must be fluent in English or French with a strong working knowledge of English.
– Proven competence in the use of computer software applications including power point, spreadsheets and word-processing packages.
– Be a person of proven creativity, high motivation, innovation and a team player.

3. Position: Senior Accounts Manager (1)

Key responsibilities
– Persuading clients that a product or service best satisfies their needs in terms of quality, price and delivery;
– To supervise the implementation of the product and train employees on its use.
– Maintain customers ‘account and ensure that there is a continued communications between the company and its customers
– Communicate to customers about the benefits and expectations of different products
– Developing long-term relationships with clients through managing and interpreting their requirements;
– Negotiating tender and contract terms and conditions to meet both client and company needs;
– Calculating client quotations and administering client accounts;
– Providing pre-sales technical assistance and product education, and after-sales support services;
– Analyzing costs and sales and preparing reports for head office;
– Meeting regular sales targets and coordinating sales projects;
– Supporting marketing activities by attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events;
– Liaising with other members of the sales team and other technical experts;
– Helping in the design of custom-made products;
– Providing training and producing support material for other members of the sales team

Qualification and Experience
– Bachelor’s degree in engineering is required; a combination of business and technical background is preferred.
– Minimum 3 years of Selling experience and at least 2 years’ experience in project management; PMP a plus but not required,
– Extensive and in-depth knowledge about the technicalities of a product
– Great analytical and organizational skills
– Ability to solve problems and communicate persuasively.
– Ability to interact with people from various businesses in an office or industrial setting.
– A solid technical background with sales skills;
– Communication skills , sound judgment and good business sense;
– Team working ability and detail-oriented.
– Ability to build relationships quickly and effectively;
– Analytical and problem-solving skills
