DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Incumbent will work under the supervision of the Head of Field Office;
the incumbent will perform the following duties:
1. Responsible for entering data mainly related to asylum seekers, refugees
and
persons of concern to UNHCR into the proGres database.
2. Contribute to the preparation of reports and project
documents by providing information, preparing tables and drafting routine
correspondence and reports.
3. Update and maintain existing databases and generate
various statistical reports.
4. Assist in the development of forms for data collection
and analysis, if requested.
5. Act as interpreter in the exchange of routine
information and translate routine documents and correspondence as and when
required.
6. May be required to undertake field trips to project
sites.
7. Act as interpreter in the exchange of routine information

8. Act as an Information Technology Focal Point at the
office level
9. Conduct registration of individual refugees in the camps
10. Perform any other duty, as requested.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
– Knowledge and Skills:
Completion of the Secondary Education with post-secondary
training/certificate in Electronic data processing, Information Technology or
related field;
– Experience: Minimum 3 years of previous job experience relevant to the
function;
– Languages: Fluent in Kinyarwanda with very good knowledge of English and
French
