Chemonics International, a U.S.
based international development consulting firm, is seeking a business, market & finance
development specialist for an anticipated USAID-funded Feed the
Future Rwanda Sustainable Food, Agriculture, and Nutrition Activity (Hinga Weze). This five-year,
$33.5-35 million project will sustainably increase smallholder farmer incomes,
improve the nutritional status of Rwandan women and children, and increase the
resilience of the agriculture and food system to the changing climate.
Business, Market &
Finance Development Specialist
- Master’s degree in business, economics, marketing,
finance, or closely related field. - Five years of progressively more responsible
international work experience in business development. - Experience working directly to integrate the poor into
market opportunities. - Experience and understanding of market facilitation
approaches to increase productivity for smallholder farmers.
