Inductor connected in series

If we connect two
inductors in par5allel, as shown in figure 1 above, being connoted in parallel,
each must have the same potential difference its terminals and the amount of
current flowing through each of the inductors is inversely proportional to the
inductive impedance of each of the resistors. Since the voltage across the
inductors is produced by self inductance, the current in L1 must
change at the rate of dL1/dt and current in L2 must
change at the rate of di2/dt. Therefore the total current must

inductance takes place between the individual inductors.
