Logistics Manager Job Vacancy in Liberia

Reports to : Sourcing/Procurement Manager
Job purpose : To manage all aspects of the company logistics activities, ensuring excellent levels of service are provided to our customers, effectively reviewing and optimising business processes to enhance the service level.

Duties & Responsibilities
Responsible for providing the most cost and time effective method of international supply to operations.
Liaise directly with international purchasing manager to coordinate shipments
Manage Bivac pre shipment inspection requirements
Oversee clearing and all related custom/tariff responsibilities
Develop tracking system to ensure objectives are obtained

Qualifications/skills required:
College degree in business/finance or related logistics. A combination of experience in logistics/customs and related skills may be a substitute for a college degree.
Minimum of five years experience in logistics and clearing fields for medium to large company.
Familiarity with Customs/Finance Ministry of Liberia
Computer proficient in Microsoft Word/Excel and excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Proven ability to manage people
Must be detail oriented and a keen sense of urgency.
