The project will foster goat production as a business for small farmers/livestock owners and small-scale animal feeding enterprises as well as improve the efficiency and food safety of the entire meat value chain serving Liberian consumers.
The baseline survey shall be completed within 40 calendar days. Applicants are expected to have strong expertise in conducting baseline survey and reporting, especially of household income-based programs, or livestock activities. The consulting firm/consultant is also expected to have prior experience in conducting different surveys (Baseline survey, evaluations etc.) for USDA funded programs, and ability to work in a variety of settings and with various members of staff, government officials, local government extension officers, farmers associations, private enterprises and community members in rural and urban environments.
