RESPONSIBILITIES
The
Country Representative will be responsible for the overall management
(financial, administrative, and programmatic) and representation of PSI’s
activities in Liberia. This includes, but is not limited to

- Using
PSI’s positioning as communications experts to develop and implement Ebola
response activities in collaboration with the Government of Liberia, civil
society partners, and donors - External
relations with donor, government, NGO, and commercial entities - In-country
personnel recruitment, training, and supervision - Development
and implementation of marketing and communication campaigns and other
social marketing activities - Creation
and monitoring of project workplans - Management
of program budgets - Financial
and other reporting as required by donors and PSI/Washington - Development
and enforcement of field office administrative policies - Fundraising
for new activities
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Significant
general management experience, with a technical background in public
health or marketing, and experience in emergency or post-conflict settings - At
least five years work experience in developing countries - Relevant
post-graduate degree (MBA, MPH, etc.) or equivalent experience - Demonstrated
ability to attract, motivate, and build the capacity of staff - Knowledge
of international development and health issues - Familiarity
with USAID and the international donor community - Fluency
in English
The

will have: excellent communication, analytical, organizational, interpersonal
and cross-cultural skills; and proven ability to produce results. Preference
will be given to candidates with demonstrated emergency management experience
and those that have experience working in limited-capacity settings.
