The Authority has received support from the Government of Kenya through Economic Recovery, Poverty Reduction and Regional Development Programme to develop water points and flood mitigation structures.
To achieve this, the Authority has procured heavy earth moving machines and seeks to recruit the following:
1. Officer in Charge, Mechanization Unit

Reporting to the Managing Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for Daily management of the Mechanization unit.
Applicant should meet the following minimum requirements:
• Diploma in Agricultural Engineering, Farm Power & Machinery option or Mechanical Engineering Plant Mechanic Option
• 5 years hands on experience in a reputable firm
• Valid Driving License
2. Plant Operators

Reporting to the Officer in Charge, the successful candidate will be responsible for Daily operations of the earth moving machines in Dam & Flood mitigation structures.
Applicants should meet the following minimum requirements:
• Certificate as plant operator from NYS or equivalent
• 10 years hands on experience in a reputable firm
• Valid Driving License with endorsement for specialised category
• Certificate of good conduct
3. Plant Mechanics/ Foreman

Reporting to the officer in Charge, the successful candidate will be responsible for supervising the workshop and coordinating field maintenance activities for the fleet of plant & equipment including Support Vehicles, Trucks & Lorries.
Applicant should meet the following minimum requirements:
• Certificate of Mechanics Grade 2
• More than 5 years experience in a reputable firm
• Valid Driving License
• Certificate of good conduct
4. Heavy Commercial Vehicle Driver

Reporting to the Officer in Charge, the successful candidate will be responsible for Daily operations of the heavy commercial vehicles.

• 10 years hands on experience in a reputable firm
• Valid Driving License with endorsement for specialised category
