Responsibilities: You will assist the Head, Human Resources in the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine (LKCSoM). As a key member of the office administration team in LKCSoM, you will be required to work in a multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural environment providing support in the following areas:
• Partner the other Heads on HR-related matters to support their operational needs
• Assist in manpower planning to design staffing plans to meet the short-term and long-term manpower needs of the School
• Formulate recruitment strategies and drive the implementation of recruitment plans for the School
• Oversee the employee health and wellness programmes to achieve a healthy and productive workforce
• Design and drive employee recognition schemes that are aligned to the School’s strategic objectives
• Assist in compensation & benefits administration, managing contract renewals/ termination, and supporting the annual performance review exercise.
Requirements:
• A recognised university degree, preferably with postgraduate HR qualifications
• At least 5 years of relevant HR experience. Experience in hospitals, public sectors or educational industries would be an added advantage.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to engage the senior management and other stakeholders
• Strong analytical mind with good communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Motivated, pro-active and optimistic about challenges
