Position Description:
Singida urban water and sanitation authority is a public firm with
responsibilities to supply sustainable, adequate, clean and safe water to the
people of singida town as well as safe disposable of waste water at right time
and price. The authority’s mission is to be one of the leading water supply and
sanitation Authority operating as autonomous and in commercial terms. In order
to efficiently carry out this mission and therefore achieve its objectives.
SUWASA is looking for suitably qualified Tanzanians to fill vacant position at
its headquarters. The authority is inviting applications from interested
candidates who meet the required qualifications
Reporting to: Managing Director
Duties and Responsibilities
Present SUWASA to the community at large which includes developing and
maintaining relationships with key community groups.
Participates in handling protocol for Authority dignitaries
Develop effective PR campaigns that will increase media attention for SUWASA
Articulate PR requirements needed for success and communication
Performing any other duties as may be assigned by Managing Director
Requirements
Holder of a degree in any of the following disciplines in Mass Communication,
Journalism, Public Relations, International Relations, Business Administration
(Marketing) and Communication studies from a recognized Institution with
at least three years of working experience in a field of public relations.
Posses advanced Computer applications and good writing skills

Age Limit: Not above 45 years
Remuneration: Salary and fringe benefits will be offered to the successful
candidates as per SUWASA’s salary structure and incentive package
Terms: Permanent and Pensionable.
