Title: Sales and Marketing Executive
Location: Dar es Salaam, with missions in other regions
Reports to: General Manager and CEFA Dar es Salaam Administrator
Type of contract 6 months probation contract, followed by a one year contract
OBJECTIVES OF THE SALES AND MARKETING EXECUTIVE:
To consolidate and expand the Njombe Milk Factory’s presence in the Dar es
Salaam area.
To explore new markets and increase the Company’s portfolio of clients.
To facilitate the work of the Company’s Orders and Customer Care Department.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and implement sales plans to achieve and exceed agreed targets in terms
of sale and margin in the identified areas of competence.
Manage the customers in the areas of competence by conducting regular visits,
assisting them in placing orders and by supporting the Company’s Orders and
Customer Care Department.
Assist in the correct management of the invoicing and delivery of products, so
as of all related logistics.
Work with existing and potential customers to drive sales growth of existing
and new products.
Monitor sales on regular basis and report accordingly.
Prepare and maintain records on sales activities and other related market
activities, including those on competition, and advice management accordingly.
Assist in payment collection from clients and account for all sales proceeds
accordingly.
QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCES
Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma holder in Marketing/Business or Sales.
Minimum of 3 years work experience in sales and marketing environment.
Excellent command in English and Swahili (both written and spoken).
Must be fully computer literate, with a good working knowledge of Excel and
other Microsoft Office standard applications.
Result-oriented.
Pro-active and problem solving attitude.
