Position Description:
Position:Senior Sales Engineer – based in Arusha s/he will be working
reporting to Commercial Manager
This is a key position in the sales department. We are looking for a
highly motivated person with drive to achieve sales targets and deliver
solutions to our customers.
Key result areas
i. Drive company products’ sales
based in Arusha with occasional travel in Tanzania and in the East And Central
Africa Region
ii. Establish and maintain close
contact with key accounts
iii. Provide presales and after sales
support for switch gear, New Transformers, Service and Refurbishment of Transformers
iv. Work with design and engineering team to
prescribe and provide solutions to customers
v. Liaise with central office to
facilitate delivery of solutions to existing and new clients
vi. Provide market intelligence to inform
product and solution development suitable for the market
Requirement:
Degree in Electrical Engineering; a candidate with a post graduate training in
sales, marketing and/or business administration will be much preferred.
The ideal candidate will have come from a technical sales background, have a
strong hunting mentality and a demonstrable record of delivering results.
Minimum 3 years relevant experience (Technical sales in electrical field).
Good communication and interpersonal skills, self starter, good sense of
responsibility, discipline, initiative and team player.
V. Should be computer literate and able to prepare power
point presentations and analyze data using MS excel or equivalent.
Ability to work with minimum supervision
and meet sales targets.
