Aga Khan Health Services Finance Manager Job Vacancy in Tanzania

Position Description:

Key Responsibilities
Manage overall General Accounting (General Ledger, Insurance, Payroll, Accounts
Payable, Fixed Assets and Inventory) and Treasury functions of the Aga Khan
Hospital, Dar es Salam.
Work as a Coordinator for the annual Statuary Audits of the Aga Khan Health
Service Tanzania. This includes finalization of the financial statements by
entities and consolidations.
Work with Chief Financial Officer on the Legal and Tax related matters of the
Aga Khan Health Service, Tanzania.
Manage and liaise with Auditors, Legal advisors and Government Authorities on
the Tax related matters.
Supervise finalization of monthly financial statements of the Aga Khan
Hospital, Dar es Salam on timely basis. This includes Income Statement, Balance
Sheet and Cash Flow statements. } Monitor the preparation of monthly payroll
and staff related payments.
Monitor the preparation and filling of the Govt. taxes on timely basis.
Develop and implement policies, procedures and internal controls to ensure
strict compliance with local laws, regulations and accounting standards.
Work as Secretary of the Board Finance Committee meeting. This includes writing
minutes and report for the meetings Monitor and analyzes department work to
develop more efficient procedures and use of resources while maintaining a high
level of accuracy.
Attends and represents department at various executive meetings for the
dissemination of information; prepares management meetings for dissemination of
information; serves as a member of various employee committees.
Any other duties of a comparable level as directed

Qualification, Knowledge & Experience
Masters Degree in Accounting, Finance or any other related field
Must be a qualified Accountant (CPA/ACCA/CIMA/ACA/CMA)
5 years Finance experience in a Managerial Position.
