ROLE AND
MAJOR FUNCTIONS
1. Support strategic partnership management between SAGCOT centre and
partnership on green growth
· Consolidate the relationship with between SAGCOT centre, WWF and LHI and
other projects and WWF ‘s support to SAGCOT centre on decision making in
equitable growth
· Support enhanced capacity of SACGOT centers as an institutions facilitates
multi – stake holder discussions
2. Conceptually, analyze and develop collective water stewardship approaches
needed to support SAGCOT centre in their mission of inclusive and green
agriculture growth in relation to local water challenges
3. Provide though leadership to around equitable green growth goal tools and
approaches
o Work on opportunities to support repricability of the approach and tolls to
the entries SAGCOT corridor and other Africa growth corridors
o Lead the development of publication’s on high quality outlets in the
international peer-reviewed literature
o Assists with supervisions of PHD/POSTGRADUATE student or other consultants
where relevant
REQUIRED SKILLS
COMPETENCE
– Demonstrated research experience at least in some of the areas of water
management , sociology, political science , economics natural resource
management, ecology geography environmental science or related
– Demonstrated expert knowledge in integrated water resource management
– Experience in development of effectiveness relationship across institutions
and sector
– Excellent strategic skills
– Ability to build external partnership, strengthen capacity and builds team
work
