Job Summary: The Manager will oversee the Forensics, Risk and
Investigations Unit and will serve as a member of the management team. The
jobholder will be responsible for proactively designing sets of policies,
processes and procedural guides to enable the company proactively manage all
financial and non-financial risks by ensuring that all relevant Units are
guided on all relevant policies and are reviewed to ensure compliance and
adaptation with emphasis on proactive and preventive risks and compliance
Management. The Manager will also ensure that investigations are carried out in
line with best practice and in accordance with lawful fraud examination
techniques and other evidence gathering procedures as necessary under the
circumstances, aligned with the values of Bayport, the Code of Professional
Standards and the Code of Professional Ethics of the Association of Certified
Fraud Examiners and relevant statutory and regulatory frameworks applicable in
Uganda.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
The ideal candidate for the Manager Forensics, Risk and Investigations Unit
career opportunity should possess a Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following
fields: Accounting, Finance, Commerce or Law. Possession of Certified Fraud
Examiners certification will be added advantage.
The applicant must be a Certified Fraud Examiner with a minimum of five years of
professional experience leading a forensics and Investigative Unit preferably
in a financial institution
The ideal candidate should be a Ugandan citizen with a good professional
standing and an impeccable level of integrity
The applicant should also have broad knowledge and understanding of the Uganda
criminal justice system
