Job
Summary:
The
Data Contract Coordinator will capture the Lab SPARS assessment reports into
the electronic Lab SPARS database and submit data for analysis. He/she will
update and keep all Lab SPARS assessment data by ensuring that deadlines are
adhered to by the Lab SPARS Supervisors regarding the completeness and timely
submission of the assessment tools.
Key
Duties and Responsibilities:  
  • Assist
    the Data Analyst to ensure timely reporting on Lab SPARS
  • Receive
    data from points where they are captured
  • Carry
    out data cleaning
  • Compile
    a report on errors identified in the Lab SPARS assessment tools
  • Enter
    all Lab SPARS assessment reports in a timely manner into the Lab SPARS
    electronic database
  • Carry
    out data filling, storage and archiving
  • Take
    measures to protect the confidentiality of data
Qualifications,
Skills and Experience:
  • The
    ideal candidates for the Management Sciences for Health (MSH) Data
    Contract Coordinator job should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Statistics,
    Population Studies Demography, Epidemiology and other related disciplines,
    including Social Sciences and Public Health
  • One
    to two years’ experience in data management
  • Proficient
    in the use of the computer: Experience with basic computer packages e.g. Microsoft
    Word, Access, Excel, Epi-Info and various databases
  • Excellent
    organizational skills, Typing, Data Entry Skills, Attention to Detail,
    Confidentiality, Thoroughness, Decision Making, Independence, Analytical
    skill , Results Driven, Energy Level
  • Ability
    to work in a team (good team player)
  • Quick
    Learner (will undergo training in the database to be used )
