Will report to the
Principal Investigator
Seek informed
consent with potential patients and enroll those who accept to join the study,
Review study participants’ scheduled and unscheduled visits, Provide
consultations as needed, Supervise and/or perform minor surgical procedures
(lumbar punctures, chest taps, abscess aspirations, etc), Supervise the
clinical staff to assure that study protocols are adhered to, follow GCP
guidelines, and are in compliance with study and site standard operating
procedures, Facilitate referrals of patient
s for admission or to other
specialty clinics, Interpret lab results and prescribe pertinent therapy,
Implement and enforce site quality control measures
Bachelors Degree of
Medicine and Bachelors Degree of Surgery (MBBS), Research experience is
desirable but not required, Excellent team building skills, Strong
communication, representation and negotiation skills, Excellent spoken and
written English and Chichewa
