District Coordinator – 5 posts – Neno Mwanza,
Ntchisi, Nkhatabay and Rumphi
In addition she/he will coordinate training interventions to strengthen the
capacity of communities and other stakeholders at district level to implement
evidence based strategies, addressing adolescent health needs and the
socio-cultural environment in which they live. Applicants should have a minimum
qualification of a Bachelors Degree in Health related field, clinical medicine,
community nursing or Environmental Health with additional training in SRH for
adolescents. The incumbent sho
uld have technical expertise across a range
of SRH issues, including long-acting and permanent methods, meeting FP needs of
underserved groups, violence against women and girls. She/he should also
have at least 5 yrs experience related to capacity building of service
providers and monitoring/supporting supervision of service delivery and
community mobilisation will be desirable, reporting to the Project manager, the
District Coordinator will provide leadership in
district level planning, coordination and monitoring implementation of the
project. She/he will lead or sport situation analysis and needs
assessments (or re-assessment) to ensure that proposed strategies and
activities are addressing felt problems and societal needs.
Available for a period of 2 yrs, renewable subject to performance and
availability of funding
