Reporting to the
Senior Agronomist
Assist Research Scientist in implementing research projects, Collect, compile
and summarise data from research trials, Assist in data analysis and writing
technical report, Supervise Field Supervisors in implementation of research
activities, Develop and maintain an up to date data bank for all research
projects, Assist scientists in preparation of work plans and budgets, Train
,
supervise and motivate other technical support staff
Diploma in Agriculture from any recognised institution, MSCE, At least 3 yrs
experience in a relevant field of research, Be able to work with minimum
supervision, Be innovative and logical thinking, Should have good interpersonal
and communication skills, Should be computer literate, Those knowledgeable in
Excel and GENSTAT or other statistical packages will have an added
advantage
