Manager – Coverage
The
incumbent’s main responsibility will be to originate and identify opportunities
to cross-sell for RMB and the broader

First Rand Group’s strategic objectives.
The incumbent will be responsible for managing Retail Sector portfolio.

Requirements
Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Management
    of Portfolio:
  • Set
    targets for the portfolio in line with sector strategy and overall RMB
    strategy.
  • Plan
    strategic objective for the portfolio
  • Manage
    Customer Relationship Management tools
  • Identify
    opportunities to cross sell and to manage those through Opportunity
    Tracker tools.
  • Initiate
    client scoping sessions to gain client insight, client needs and originate
    Client Action Plans
  • Interrogate
    and manage Management Information System (MIS) data to minimize revenue
    leakage on continuous basis
  • Proactively
    manage credit facilities to ensure adequate limits are in place
  • Source
    new business in adherence with coverage disciplines i.e sales campaigns,
    liabilities drives, asset growth and other products.
  • Effective
    internal and external stakeholder relationship management
  • Build
    and maintain strong working relationships with all stakeholders,
    displaying excellent abilities to initiate dialogue and listen, advise,
    influence and negotiate
  • Quick
    quality responses to stakeholders’ needs, complaints and conflicts.
  • Effective
    teamwork, self-management and alignment with group values
  • Continually
    drive and model RMB’s values
  • Make
    an effort to stay relevant and up-to-date with legislation, new
    development etc.
  • Drive
    own and team initiatives to achieve business strategic goals.
Experience, skills and qualifications required for this role are as
follows:
  • Bachelors
    Degree preferably in Business Plus COP (long & Short Term)
  • 7-10
    years in a similar role and relevant Industry
  • Essential
