highly skilled and self- driven individual for the position of HEAD, STRATEGY
AND INNOVATION.
The incumbent will report directly to the Director, Enterprise Support. The
Head, Strategy and Innovation will be responsible for managing the overall BSB
strategy planning and coordination process and managing internal excellence and
standardization, innovation and opt
imization processes in order to derive
maximum competitive advantage.
Key
Accountabilities
- Define
the Banks’ strategic intent and organizational goals - Develop
operational excellence and strategy, policies and procedures. - Manage
the BSB strategy planning process and cycle on behalf of the CEO. - Optimise
banking processes and procedures. - Plan,
organize and control the day-to-day activities of the Strategy &
Innovation Office - Develop
frameworks conducive to the execution and measurement of deliverables in
relation to strategy. - Establish
and institutionalize innovation management throughout the organization.
Position
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree and a Master’s degree in Strategic Management, Economics,
Business Administration or an alternative Business qualification; preferably
with a Project Management qualification.
Experience:
Eight (8) years post-qualification experience of which three (3) should have
been in a managerial position in a strategy, project management, quality and
process optimisation environment.
Knowledge:
Experiential knowledge of project management systems and processes, e.g.
PRINCE2, certified Balanced Scorecard Practitioner
