Do you consider yourself an emergent professional at facilitating these outdoor experiences?

Bark Lake Leadership Centre offers a role in a unique outdoor leadership program which challenges guests from all over the world while working with other qualified and enthusiastic staff.

Minimal qualifications required include:
• 1-year+ (4 seasons) in a recreational, educational or outdoor work related experience.
• Current Standard First Aid (CPR –C) certificate
• Post Secondary Education
• Current and acceptable Police Record Check
• Relevant soft skills in customer service and youth/adult interaction

Preferred qualifications requested include:
• WILD Education — Project WILD, Instructor status
• National Lifeguard Service (NLS) Waterfront qualifications
• Red Cross Lifeguard or Bronze Cross, Instructor status
• Challenge Course Certifications — ACCT Level 1-2
• Second Language is an asset- Cantonese, Mandarin, Russian, Spanish, Portuguese, French, Korean, Italian, Japanese
• Ontario Recreational Canoe & Kayak Association(ORCKA) qualifications- Basic Canoe Instructor desired
• Chainsaw Operator, Pleasure Craft Operator(PCO)

Living on site, you will have the opportunity to facilitate and implement a range of outdoor team-building, leadership and community development programs for youth and adult aged groups. You bring to this position a related degree or post secondary training in outdoor education and related outdoor experiences. A commitment to innovative programming, a love of the outdoors and the ability to work within a team complete your profile.
