SkyFire Energy is looking for a well-rounded individual to become part of our solar electric team in Calgary, AB. This individual will be self-motivated, energetic, personable, and excited to work as part of a fast growing company in the solar industry.
Primary duties include:
• Solar electric system installation — grid connected and off-grid
• Performing solar site surveys
• Pulling electrical permits
• Educating clients about solar before and during installation
• Email, phone, and in-person correspondence
Requirements:
• Master Electrician able to register in Calgary
• Must be able to lift solar modules, batteries or other heavy items
• Must be comfortable working at heights
• Willing to work out of town on some projects for durations of 2 days to 2+ weeks
• Class 5 driver’s license
Assets:
• Solar training and/or solar installation certification (SAIT, CanSIA, NABCEP, SEI, etc)
• Solar installation experience
• Fall protection certificate
