About the position:
ELITS Canada is now searching to
fill a permanent position as a Software Developer/Web Designer. The right
persons will join a small team that is working in designing, implementing,
deploying and supporting a Web-based Cloud Management Application and
Middleware.

The resources will be part of a
small driven team, and can be involved in any of the following tasks:

- Participate
in Web Application design based on user requirements analysis - Develop
new features mainly for the Web Application Front-End and optionally
Middleware interface to the Cloud Infrastructure Orchestrator - Participate
in deployment of new releases - Support
current users - Develop
and Improve automated test suites and Continuous integration environment - Write
general utility scripts. - Fix
outstanding bugs are general maintenance
Qualifications:
- At
least 5 years in a software development position, with emphasis on Web and
Front-End design - Strong
Front-End Web Development experience (JavaScript/Dojo framework, HTML/CSS) - Experience
with Developing responsive Web applications using the latest technologies
(JavaScript OOP, HTML5, CSS3, AJAX, Websockets, REST Interface design
using JSON, MVC design patterns) - Visual/Graphics
Design skills (InkScape, Adobe Illustrator etc.)) - Experience
with Relational Databases (ideally MySQL) - Experience
with debugging web client applications using multiple web browser clients
(IE, Firefox, Chrome) - Experience
with Agile teams (scrum) methodologies - Experience
with continuous integration processes and tools (Maven, Ant, JUnit,
PHPUnit, Jenkins/Hudson) - Experience
using SCMs (ideally Git/Gerrit) - Experience
in using, managing and testing on LAMP-based Web Servers
