Were looking to
hire a full-time,
permanent general assignment reporter for our Regina newsroom. Postmedia News
is introducing a quartet of freshly designed information products – mobile,
web, tablet and print – each with a unique voice and differentiated content
that plays to the strengths of each platform. Were looking for an energetic,
ideas-infused journalist with the capacity to be a key contributor to all four.

– A degree in Journalism or
equivalent experience; experience at a daily newspaper will be a definite asset.

– The ability to comfortably and
productively work in a team environment, but who’s able to get it done on their
own when required. Well especially value your ability to cultivate sources and
independently develop and execute coverage plans.

– A capacity to exercise sound

– Demonstrable ability with the full
suite of modern journalistic tools, including software used to produce

developing and managing audiences using social networks such as Facebook and
Twitter. You’ll be skilled at leveraging social media sites content-creation

– A willingness to work outside
regular nine-to-five hours as required, including participation in rotating
