A destination “big-box” drinks merchant. BWS: A small
“convenience” drinks merchant, with a range of f

ormats, ranging from
high street liquor stores and supermarket attached liquor stores through to,
drive-through liquor stores. Wine Quarter: A collective of specialist
digital and direct-to-customer businesses. Pinnacle Drinks: Manages own
and exclusive brands on behalf of the group.


The opportunity:
 
The
role supports the MD of the Woolworths Liquor Group as well as being a key
member of the executive leadership team  and will have the opportunity to
shape and lead the strategy and growth of the business. Working at both our
Norwest and Surry Hills offices, this role will also work closely and be a key
member of the Woolworths Legal Management Team. You will partner and
support the business to deliver legal advice specially for the Woolworths
Liquor Group . This role will have greatest appeal to senior lawyers  in a
major law firm or senior experienced in-house counsel who operate in a fast
paced, nimble environment where the team works collaboratively to achieve
outcomes.

 
Key
responsibilities:
  • Build
    effective relationships and liaise with Senior Executives across the
    business.

  • Demonstrate
    ‘best in class’ corporate counsel thinking and constant innovation.

  • Manage,
    lead and guide your team to provide legal advice and services.
