REQUIREMENTS
Minimum
Qualifications:
- BGSE/COSC
Certificate - Financial
related diploma or degree – B.Comm or equivalent will be an advantage - Must be
a Citizen of Botswana
Skills
Required:
- Computer
literacy – (Advanced Ms Office) - BAAN
will be an advantage or any other EPR system - Foreign
currency knowledge - Basic
Company Taxes and VAT knowledge
Minimum
Experience:
- At
least 5 years’ experience in an accounting environment - Knowledge
of all financial processes, procedures and systems
Key Tasks:
- Responsible
for the accurate processing of financial data - Ensure
effective and efficient performance of accounting activities in line with
internal controls and procedures - Reconciliation
of Intercompany loan accounts - Reconciliation
of debtor and creditors accounts - Balance
sheet reconciliations - Preparation
and processing of journal entries - VAT
+SAT returns, payments and reconciliations - Levies
calculation - Preparation
of TB - Prepare
audit file - Preparation
of Annual Financial statements - Follow
up on any queries regarding the monthly results - Daily
cash flow reporting - Loading
of EFT and COD payments - Will
sometimes be required to work overtime to complete the month end
procedures
The
preferred candidate will be:
