1.Laboratory Technician, 8 Positions based at Palapye,
Mambo, Mmamashia, Letlhakane, Maun, Selebi Phikwe, Mahalapye and Lobatse
1.1.The Position
To ensure water and wastewater quality compliance with
relevant standards, optimum treatment processes, implementation of appropriate
laboratory test methods and procedures by execution of the sampling and testing
programme, optimum utilization of laboratory
equipment in accordance with Corporation standard operating procedures and
laboratory quality management system at local operational area.
1.2.Qualifications and Experience
•Diploma in Chemistry, Microbiology or Biology
•3 years relevant experience in analytical sampling
and testing in an industrial laboratory (preferably in the water industry)
•Sound knowledge of computer operations
•Valid light duty driving license.
The following will be given an added advantage:
•Familiarity with ISO 17025 Laboratory Quality
Management System
1.3.Remuneration
Salary: An attractive salary package commensurate
with qualifications and competence is offered
Leave: 25 working days per annum
