Job Purpose
The purpose of this role is to provide a business focused support to projects and departments across the whole of the VWUK organisation. You will undertake a series of 6-month general business placements plus a specialist (technical) placement. These placements are designed to equip you with the necessary knowledge, skills and behaviours to begin the leadership journey to becoming a technical or business leader in Veolia Water UK.
Key Responsibilities for the role
As a Business graduate, there will by four projects and placements from right across the business including: HR/Talent, Customer Relations (Capability Centre or operational), Communications, Finance / Procurement / Internal Audit, Preparing Bids / Business Development activity, Scientific & Corporate Responsibility Services and IT. The specialist placement could be in Asset Management, Network Operations or Community Operations.
Wide exposure to these areas across the business will enable you to make a valuable contribution towards helping Veolia Water achieve its ambitious strategies and objectives for the future. To achieve this you will:
• Work in each placement within a key role or on a key project within a specific business area under the direction of an experienced manager
• Be provided with challenging activities and opportunities to apply your prior learning to real business issues
• Be supported to complete all tasks and projects assigned
• Build and maintain a network of contacts across the business in order to continue to develop and solve business issues appropriately
• Attend courses, coaching sessions, and other development activities aligned to the Graduate programme.

Essential Technical role requirements
Business graduates are required to achieve or have achieved a minimum 2:1 in Business Management or relevant alternative degree.
You should also be able to demonstrate strong project management skills based upon previous demonstrable achievements

What happens next?
