ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:
The Agric-Finance Relationship Officer
will have the following and responsibilities:

- Identify
potential clients for agriculture financing; - Review
Agriculture investment opportunity and recommend them loan facility
approval; - Develop
and maintain working contacts with stakeholders in Agriculture finance; - Full
monitoring and recovery of agriculture portfolio; - Organize
and Conduct trainings for Farmers/ Clients; - Provide
technical guidance and support to improve and strengthen agriculture
lending; - Provide
monthly insights/reports to Agric – finance Manager; - Ensure
Agric loans processes are in line with the Agaric Policy and Procedures
Manual; - Any
other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Education Qualification and Experience
- Bachelor’s
degree in Agriculture-Business or Agriculture Sciences; - Two
years’ experience in agricultural extension services or consultancy
services.
- 3.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND COMPETENCES
- knowledge
and experience of developing and accessing cost of production and yield
expectations for smallholders in a range of crops and livestock
enterprises, and working with farmers groups and cooperatives to build
profitable/bankable enterprises - Language
proficiency in Kinyarwanda and English, in both verbal and written
communication skills - Exceptional
oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate
clearly and persuasively, interpret documents, understand procedures,
write reports and correspondence; speak clearly to third parties and
employees - Ability
to meet reporting expectations of the Banking Support Director and Senior
Management - Ability
to maintain high standards of accuracy in the information and advice
provided to management and employees.
