College of Arts
Since 1451, the University has specialised in the Arts and developed wide-ranging expertise in nearly 40 areas of enquiry, some of it unique in the world. The College of Arts provides a rich environment for research and collaboration: we were 2nd in the UK for AHRC grant capture in 2011. Research is intertwined with our
graduate and undergraduate research programmes and greatly influences the content of our academic curriculum. The accomplishments of our academics and leadership in subject areas within the College have been consistently recognised in the UK and internationally and we seek exceptional candidates who can enhance our submission to the 2014 REF and continue to shape the future excellence of our prestigious College.
