UMWALIMU SACCO is a Savings and Credit Cooperative
for the Rwandan Teachers mandated to empower the members towards uplifting
their social-economic welfare and to contribute to socio-economic development of
the community in which they live. Umwalimu SACCO wishes to recruit qualified,

1. DEPUTY
CHIEF INTERNAL AUDITOR
- Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in
Auditing, Finance, Economics, Management, Accounting from a recognized
high learning institution; with at least an experience of 8 years working
as an auditor, of which 3 years as Internal Auditor or internal controller
in a reputable Bank ,Microfinance Bank, or Cooperative Bank . - Strong communication skills and ability to
lead and motivate a team of professionals; - Should be fluent in Kinyarwanda and English.
Knowledge of French would be an added advantage; - Able to understand, adhere to, and share the
SACCO’s values and goals; - Computer skills, especially the ability to
work in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Power Point, Internet and at
least one banking software; - Have a strong analytical ability to help in
problem solving; - Be a person of high level of integrity with
strong relational competency (inter-personal skills); - Aged between 25 and 45 years;
- Ready to work anywhere in Rwanda

AUDITOR
- Master’s degree or its equivalent in Auditing,
Finance, or Accounting from recognized high learning institution (no
experience required) - Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent with
distinction in Auditing, Finance, or Accounting from recognized high
learning institution (no experience required) - Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent in
Auditing, Finance, or Accounting from recognized high learning institution
with at least an experience of 3 years working as
Internal Auditor or internal controller in a reputable Bank, Microfinance
Bank, or Cooperative Bank. - Strong communication skills and ability to
lead and motivate a team of professionals; - Should be fluent in Kinyarwanda and English

SACCO’s values and goals; - Computer skills, ‘especially the ability to
work in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Power Point, Internet and at

- Ready to work anywhere in Rwanda.
