tools but also take responsibility for reviewing, challenging and helping us to
enhance and align those processes, standards and tools. You will be working in
a fast paced and sophisticated project delivery environment where the Project
Controller is expected to act as a partner to the Project Manager.
Reporting
to the PMO Lead, you will be required to:

- Work
with Project Managers, Team Leaders and other Stakeholders to construct MS
Project schedules within a sophisticated Project Server environment that
is integrated with a number of specialised delivery support applications; - On
an on-going basis maintain the MS Project schedules of in-flight Projects;
- Pro-actively
support Project Managers in monitoring, analysing and managing the status
and health of in-flight Projects; - Provide
a range of progress, status and health reports incorporating schedule and
financial status, earned value metrics; - Review,
advise upon and help implement enhancements to existing project control
standards, reports, processes and tools; - Proactively
identify issues, risks and suggested mitigations/ actions as well as
opportunities to improve and work with the appropriate Stakeholder; and - Work
collaboratively with other Project Control Officers to assist with
maintaining plan information, including project schedules, risks, issues
and actions.
To
succeed in this challenging and impactful role, you will have;

- Demonstrable
experience in using MS Project preferably in a Project Server environment;
- Solid
experience in MS Office applications such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint; - Solid
project controlling expertise and solid understanding of project
performance measurement techniques, especially Earned Value Management; - Strong
written and verbal communication skills; - Ability
to work with multiple stakeholders, in multiple regions across time-zones;
- A
strong focus on HSE and building customer relationships; and - A
working knowledge of PRINCE2 or PMBOK project management frameworks
(desirable).
