VACANCY: TRAINING DEVELOPMENT ADVISOR

The Directorate on Corruption and Economic Crime (DCEC) has the overall responsibility to receive and investigate any complaints alleging corruption in any public entity and to educate the public against evils of corruption.
The office of Training Development Advisor exists to advise this Directorate on the human capital base in all the functions.
A talented, proactive, self driven and visionary candidate is therefore sought to lead and direct the operations of the office of the Training Development Advisor.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
• Advises management of the Directorate and Government at large on the required skills and competencies required to facilitate fighting of corruption and economic crime.
• Conducts training needs assessment and determines relevant development programme(s).
• Develops strategies and programmes, designed to equip staff members with relevant skills and competencies and conducts training on core courses and skills.
• Develops and design curriculum that can provide technical skills relevant to fighting corruption and economic crime.
• Mobilises resources for the effective functioning of the training function.
• Prepares the training budget and submit for approval by management.
• Authorises and controls the expenditure of funds within the training function to ensure that it is within policy, budget and to maximize organizational performance.
• Seeks for accreditation of courses offered by the DCEC.
• Undertakes any other related duties as assigned by the Director.

QUALIFIED APPLICANT (S) PROFILE
Applicants must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice/Criminology/Law or equivalent complemented by at least fifteen (15) years of white-collar crime Investigations and operational command. A post graduate qualification in Human Resources Management will be an added advantage:

SALARY SCALE: F2 (P375 912 per annum)
LEAVE: 30 working days per annum

BENEFITS:
• Gratuity: 25% of the total gross emoluments earned during the contract of employment
• Optional contributory Medical Aid Scheme (Government pays 50 % and Employee pays 50%)
• Institutional Housing or 15% Housing allowance in lieu of housing
