My client is a proud International IT software and
infrastructure vendor who has built a fantastic reputation in a variety of
Enterprise markets. Established for many years, this organisation employs
thousands of people globally and has a presence on every continent. They are
committed to providing the best solutions, service and advice to ensure their
clients’ experience is unparallel. Recently they secured a major program of
works involving a large retail customer undertaking a rolling series of systems
upgrade

s across their national network of outlets. As a result, my client now
seeks a dedicated Project Manager, preferably with experience running
technical projects into the Retail sector who can drive multiphase
concurrent and sequential projects to completion. Experience or knowledge of
POS preferred.
With the support of the Executive team, your
influential role will focus on ensuring strong process is followed to bring the
internal and 3rd party project and implementation teams to timely, successful
delivery of a number of project phases ongoing within this account,
involving both customised software and hardware elements. Begining with the
Definition phase, you will leverage your advanced project and people management
skills to ensure uniformity in project approach, engaging at the highest levels
within the client and making the customer experience seamless. You will develop
a tailored methodology-set, specific to the business and implement this
methodology within the team. You will be responsible for ensuring project KPI’s
are met by internal and client side teams and act as the uppermost
escalation point on project issues resolutions.

Proven Experience Required! You have a successful
history of complex IT program delivery, preferably retail with
experience delivering to large multisite customers. Experience or
knowledge within the POS arena will be viewed highly. You follow proven PM
methodology. You are an effective corporate communicator and can influence
outcomes across multiple projects within a scope of works. You are able to
manage internal and external resources and have effectively maintained
professional services partnership in delivering to time and budget
expectations. Experience in developing and implementing team methodology and
