Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Director of Pharmacy Services, the Pharmacy Manager is responsible for the direct supervision of pharmacist staff at the Misericordia Community Hospital. A key focus of this role involves the coordination and organization of assigned human, financial and material resources to ensure the effective program delivery and the identification and resolution of issues that impact service to the site. The Manager is the first line of contact for assigned staff to resolve problems related to staffing or other services concerns. The Manager encourages a positive relationship between staff in keeping with the Covenant Health mission, vision and values, and demonstrates leadership skills that will focus and support a dynamic team.

Qualifications:
Baccalaureate Degree in Pharmacy required.
Minimum 3-5 years recent experience in a hospital pharmacy.
Previous supervisory experience preferred.
Able to integrate and apply clinical knowledge in the day to day operation of the department.
Demonstrated managerial competencies that include excellent communication skills, leadership qualities, problem solving, conflict resolution, analytical thinking, interpersonal and group management skills, change management, organization and project management skills.
Strong computer skills utilizing Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint in a Windows environment required.
Must be able to maintain privacy, dignity, confidentiality, and morale of all concerned.
Demonstrated optimism and enthusiasm about the Pharmacy program with commitment to continuous quality improvement.
Demonstrated customer service approach to pharmacy staff and site programs.
