Technical Report on Sanitary Inspection of Premises

Introduction
This inspection means a comprehensive
inspection of any structure undertaken or determines compliance with the
requirements of a regulation or law specified in a format.
However, sanitary inspection of
premises consists of routine inspection of premises,

special inspection of
premises, school inspection, market inspection, abattoir inspection etc. All
these inspection entails checking of premises to detect the recommend and abate
nuisance. On visiting the premises, the first thing, an environmental health
officer does is to present his identity card and introduce himself to the owner
or occupant of the premises informing him about his mission. After the
introduction, the inspection of the premises commences. The procedure for
inspection of the premises is systematic depending on the type of premises to
be inspected.

School sanitation/inspection is an
optimal environmental sanitation aim to provide self and conducive environment
for physical, mental, health being of school children in order to have maximum
benefits from educational programmes. School inspection helps to promote a
conducive environment for both teachers/lecturers and a student a well sanitary
cites is free from disease and illness.
Routine market inspection is usually
based on a schedule date used to health educate, detect, recommend and abate
nuisances.
In most places, there is a market
management committee which helps in educating others in the involvement of
market sanitation and promoting the principle of involvement and participation.
Abattoir inspection is a routine
visitation of a health officer to a slaughter house ensuring that each meat slaughtered
are in healthy state, the sanitary condition of the slaughter house are of
standard as well as the require tools used for slaughtering of an animal are
intact and of good standard.
Objective
of premises inspection
1.                 
To strengthen sanitary inspection of premises (house-house
inspection) for detecting and abatement of nuisance.
2.                 
To promote clean and healthy environment.
3.                 
To prevent sanitation related diseases, illness and injuries
to reduce poverty and increase life span. 
In conclusion, it is now the duty of
federal ministry of environment in collaboration with state ministry of
environment, cooperate bodies, agencies, individual willingness in developing a
minimum idea standards for living. Sanitary inspection of premises should be
therefore of almost important as it helps in abatement of nuisance which exercise
or may exercise a deleterious effects to human’s health in one or the other.
