Position Objective
Implement all HR functions in the Plant, so as to ensure that there are skilled and required numbers of employees in the region and maintain harmonious working environment.
Description:
Specific Duties and Responsibilities
•Advise the Plant Manager and make recommendations on all matters regarding staff engagements, posting, promotions, retirements so as to ensure proper running of the Plant.
•Deal with all staff complaints, problems, requests, leave, compensation and benefits and other issues related to staff and to ensure working harmony at the Plant is smooth.
•Dealing with staff welfare, safety matters in collaboration with Plant Welfare Officer and reporting to Principal Welfare Officer at Head Office on all matters pertaining to welfare of staff at the Plant and employees health status is recorded and reported on weekly basis.
•Appearing in the court sessions on behalf of the Company to ensure that, cases are timely reported to Chief Legal Counsel and Company Secretary for proper arrangements by Companies legal officers.
•Performing secretarial function as a Secretary to Plant Management committee meetings and ensuring Management resolutions are well recorded for implementation and the minutes are prepared in a professional manner within set duration and kept under safe custody for future reference.
Requirements:
Minimum Education and Experience
•First Degree in Public Administration/Human Resources Management
•3 years post qualification with exposure to HR functions
•Key Knowledge and Skills Computer Literacy
•Able to communicate very well in English and Kiswahili Creative and very innovative
•Self Motivated
