Assistant Production Manager
Responsibilities:
• Manage, guide & motivate a team of 30~40 workers
• Ensure that all quality, production and delivery requirements are met
• Monitor and continuously improve the utilization and efficiency of production lines
• Develop and implement programs to improve equipment, production methods and expertise of personnel
• Control of raw materials
• Strict controls to ensure adherence to 6S principles
• Ensure that preventive maintenance is carried out properly
• Work within assigned budget to ensure control of all operating costs
Requirements:
• Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related discipline
• Minimum of 5 years of managerial experience in a plastics manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of profile plastics extrusion will be an advantage
• Experience with shop floor management required
• Highly motivated and a strong motivator
• Able to connect with staff at all levels
• Familiar with Total Quality Management principles and ISO 9001 & ISO 14001
• Proficiency in English & Mandarin is a must.
