The study
examined teachers
and students’ perceptions on the problems of effective teaching and learning
of physical education in selected junior secondary schools in Ogwashi-Uku
community, Delta State. In
examining the work, four research questions and hypotheses were drawn. The
descriptive survey research design was adopted for the study while the sample
was one hundred and fifty (150) respondents obtained through the proportionate
and simple random sampling techniques. Data were collected through the use of
structured questionnaire and analyzed using frequency distribution tables and
chi-square statistics at alpha 0.05 level of significance. Data collected were
presented, analysed and discussed. Based on the discussions, conclusions were
made based on the formulated hypotheses.
