Job Description
Direct CB training overall in Ghana. Identify cost
effective learning needs, implement solutions, monitor and customize the
direction of CB Training in line with Group Training Policy and business
performance in the country to enhance competency of staff through facilitation
and encouraging the ownership of learning at all levels.
Act
as the primary liaison for business managers in the Business for training
needs identification and quality.

Implement regional initiatives as directed by Area and Regional Head of
L&TD.

Key Roles
& Responsibilities

Strategy
• Participate in implementing strategy and
priorities of CB training for the country in line with Group overall
strategy and in consultation with Area Head of L&TD and HoCB. Assess
CB Training needs arising from new business initiatives, recommend and
develop training and learning solutions addressing these needs.
Programs
• Develop & update all relevant on-going & proposed CB training
materials and programmes in conjunction with the relevant business unit.

• Liaise with
CB Trainers Groupwide, to promote L&TD best practices.
• Deliver programmes in-country in Personal/Managerial Effectiveness and
Professional Development as applicable.
• Implement role certification for all key roles in CB.

• Identify,
train, monitor and evaluate performance and development of Country line
trainers.

Facilitation
• Execute and deliver development programmes to improve and enhance
competency levels in Consumer Banking.

Administration
• Co-ordinate and administer training and development activities for CB
and help in the administration of the Learning Centre.

Qualifications & Skills
Hands on experience in and a thorough
knowledge of Consumer Banking operating procedures

Knowledge of computer software and CBT
techniques

Training methodology and practice
Good knowledge of the bank’s direction and
strategies

Very good interpersonal skills
Qualities of a change agent



People
Management skills

Appropriate holder of ACIB Intermediate/Intermediate
Marketing Certificate/First degree
