Sexually transmitted
diseases are diseases that can be transmitted from one person to another
through unprotected sexual contact. This is a communicable disease that can be
transmitted through direct contact with an infected person.

They are usually
associated with a feeling of discomfort and pains to the infected person.
Example of these diseases includes;

 HIV/AIDS

Herpes etc.

Prevention of Sexually Transmitted Diseases

Abstinence from causal sex

Being faithful to one uninfected partner
3.     
Correct and consistent use of condom
4.     
Personal hygiene
5.     
In case of infections, early diagnosis is greatly encouraged.
